Ron Tate has worked in the plastics industry for thirty years,
having served his apprenticeship with Cincinnati Milacron's special propose machines
division
On finishing my apprenticeship I travelled around the world
as a service engineer for Cincinnati.
At the age of thirty I went to work for Harcostar as a maintenance engineer from Harcostar
I went to Battenfeld Fischer as a service
engineer working in the UK and Europe.
While working for Battenfeld Fischer I ran introduction to blow moulding courses
in Leeds the same course are now run at Telford.
From Battenfeld I went to Bell Products as technical manager.
I then went to Rockware plastics and was responsible for turning
it into the first Alpla factory in the UK.
In my time I have worked for Gem Plastics Portman, Products, Inblowform, Strata Products.
For the last five years I have carried out service and repair as Ron Tate services
